Made A promise to myself that I would get out with the camera at least twice a week, Wednesdays and Saturday or Sunday. Wednesday was a bust due to car issues, three months old in the garage for a week, great. Anyways Saturday was definitely not a bust however. I’ve been a member of the National trust a couple years now, well worth the £8.50 a month especially when you consider the parking charges in the lake district. So parked up at the Great Wood NT car park at the side of Derwent water and set out to walk the entire 10 miles around. This is one of the final pictures I took just as the last light was leaving the lake and the cold of a clear night started to envelop the lake. It made me smile watching the kids laughing and joking taking selfies at the waters edge. 8ds_7044
