One set, is the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside and the second set is Durham Cathedral and Castle. I don’t often take night shots but have been practicing of recent, hope you like :-).

Oh I love this set, the land of my birth, I miss it so much! What camera do you use? I am trying to find one that takes good night shots but I am a total amateur.
Were total amateurs to be honest, one thing I would say is its not really the camera that matters but the equipment/extras. To take most of these I was using my tripod and a shutter release cable. This lets you slow the shutter speed right down and reduce the chance of ending up with blurry pictures. But to answer your question I used a Nikon d5000.
